Oh my! That's very nice! It has a sort of mournful Addams feel to it. I love that ambiguous expression on her face: is she merely pensive, or is she plotting something with those cats? And the cats are so graceful and sleek.

Thank you! I was really pleased with the way her expression came out, too. And the cats, I didn't want them to look exactly like ordinary house cats, so they're modeled after Abyssinian cats.

Yeah, I don't think she had too much in the way of happiness--and personally I'd bet that influenced what she did as Queen, the poor lady.

Great picture! I particularly like the figure of the white cat (and now that you mention it, I can definitely see that the cats are modeled on abyssinians). The queen definitely looks like she's thinking hard about something not too pleasant!
