I'm madly trying to get my Osgiliath wargame map done today--I've got the counters done, most of the rules and charts, but the silly map gives me problems. Hexes are... annoying, but so necessary. I really wanted to play it this evening. I mean, how cool would that be, to wargame a battle on the anniversary of the day it happened? But... we'll see. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Incidentally, I also wanted to have a nice Osgiliath battle fic to post today, but I couldn't get one ready in time, so here at least are a couple of drabbles that have a little bit to do with all that.
